The Niaouli (melaleuca quinquenervia cineol-viridiflorol), is a large tree that can reach 7 to 10 meters in height, grows in water and can be recognized by its whitish bark formed by thin layers. The leaves are elongated and thick while the multiple small fruits are very noticeable. There is a whole wild forest along the Pangalanes canal. Niaouli essential oil has more than 100 active ingredients. These will give it a large number of properties.
